This particular theory states that there are two main factors which affect the satisfaction level of the employees in the workplace. The first set of factors are the positive ones which increase the job satisfaction level of the employees and thereby help them or motivate them to perform in a better much better manner (Pegler, 2012). The second of factors are the negative ones and they lower the job satisfaction level of the employees in a significant manner and thereby lower the performance level of the employees (Pegler, 2012). The theory also puts emphasis on the role of hygiene in the workplace. Thus it can be said that the two theories related to the aspect of management differ greatly as regards the emphasis which they put on the various aspects of management. Therefore, it is seen that the various business organizations have developed their own set of rules as well policies and principles as regards the governance of their organization.
